This area boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage, with the medieval castles of Tabor and Miljana, Neanderthal Museum, Hušnjak Hill, Kumrovec ethno village, Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec and a monument to the Croatian national anthem “Our beautiful homeland”, which was erected in 1934 in the protected area of Zelenjak.
